Registering with the U.S. Congress Copyright Office records copyright ownership more formally. You must pay a fee and supply two copies of your book. Contact the Copyright Office.

The author must submit complete manuscripts only. Manuscripts must be typed in Microsoft Word. Any graphics must be submitted via email to firstname.lastname@example.org in either .gif, .png, or .jpg format and the author must have the legal rights to use them. Your book will be assigned the International Standard Book Numbers required by booksellers. In addition, there will be a machine-readable Bookland/EAN barcode on the book cover.
